The problem

Every quick change turns into a quote.

The to-do list

The font change, the new page, the broken form. Each one still waiting.

The gap

To a build team, small changes come last. New builds pay the bills. It’s not personal. It’s how agencies work.

Meanwhile

Plugins still need updating while you wait. Skip one and it’s a known security hole.

You’re not asking for much. That’s exactly why it keeps slipping.

Looking after sites is our whole job. From a font change to a full roadmap.

What’s included

WordPress support and maintenance, every month.

Your host keeps running the server. We look after everything on top of it.

Our developers do the work

  • WordPress core, plugin and theme updates
  • Security patches when a vulnerability is published
  • Fixes when something breaks
  • New features and landing pages
  • Content uploads
  • Works wherever your site is hosted now

We watch it

  • Known vulnerabilities (CVEs) in WordPress, plugins and themes, scanned daily
  • Uptime checked every minute
  • Defacement watch
  • SSL, domain and end-of-life dates
  • Admin access and MFA audit

You get the record

  • A logbook for your site, live and staging
  • Every change, fix and finding, dated
  • Support tickets

The message you get when a plugin vulnerability is published

demo.com.au · A vulnerability has been published for your forms plugin, rated high. We’ve updated it to the fixed version. Nothing for you to do. Entry #0214.

Example. Every site is scanned for known vulnerabilities daily.

How it works

From first call to first update.

Tell us about your site. Two minutes on the form, or call us.

02
We look under the bonnet. A developer checks your site and talks it through with you: what’s out of date, what’s at risk, what’s on your list.

Who we are

Fifteen years of building websites. Now we look after them.

BLACKBX is the website service department from UnDigital (opens in a new tab): same company, same developers. Some clients send us one change a month. Others have a full team on their site every month. Our team works out of Sydney, the Sunshine Coast and Ho Chi Minh City, so there’s always someone on it.

Questions

Before you ask.

How much does WordPress maintenance cost in Australia?

With us, Maintenance starts at $840 a month + GST. For that, our developers do the updates, the security patches, the fixes and the changes on your list. If you already have a developer, Monitor is $99 a month + GST: we watch the site and tell your developer what needs doing. If you want us to host it too, Full service is quoted. Every plan is monthly with no minimum term.

What’s included in WordPress maintenance?

With BLACKBX, our developers handle WordPress core, plugin and theme updates. They also patch security vulnerabilities as soon as they’re published, fix things when they break, and build new features, landing pages and content. We scan for plugin and theme vulnerabilities daily and check uptime every minute. We also watch your SSL certificate, domain and software end-of-life dates. Every change goes into a logbook you own.

Do you build new WordPress sites?

We look after sites that are already built. New builds and rebuilds are done by UnDigital (opens in a new tab), the build team behind BLACKBX, and launch straight into BLACKBX.

Can we keep our current developer or agency?

Yes. Our developers do the maintenance and yours can keep access. The access is granted and logged, and the logbook records our work.

Do we have to move our hosting?

No. Maintenance works wherever your WordPress site is hosted now. Your host keeps running the server. If you’d rather hand us that too, see WordPress hosting.

Will updates break my site?

Updates are where WordPress sites usually break, which is why a developer runs them rather than an auto-update switch. Each one is written in your logbook, so you always know what changed and when.

What does “from $840 a month” depend on?

How much you want done each month: keeping the site updated and patched, plus anything else, from new features to content uploads. We’ll give you a fixed monthly price after the first call.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Monthly, no minimum term. The price you start on is the price you renew on.

Talk to us

Tell us about your WordPress site.

A developer will get back to you, not a salesperson.

Tell us what’s on your list, what’s been bothering you, or just that nobody’s looking after it. We’ll reply with a time to talk.
